Jimmy Choo Handbags

After a few runway reports, I will take a break from that and discuss a bit of accessories. I'd like to present two ill-designed bags by Jimmy Choo. This isn't the first day that I know Jimmy Choo bags are uninspired and not even very tasteful, but these two bags still knocked me off a bit. The belted shoulder bag just simply looks weird. It is the same busy double belt+buckle design that we see in most Jimmy Choo bags, but this bag has these 2 distracting pieces of leather extending above the bag so it could be worn over the shoulders. I appreciate their effort to make the bag more user-friendly but these two pieces of leather look like wings of a flying bat to me. These two "wings" are joint together awkwardly by a disporportionately short and thin handle, making it look even more weird. This bag costs USD$ 1690 at www.neimanmarcus.com! And this Tam Mesh Tote is only marginally better if at all. The amount of details is just way over the top. 80% of this tote is shinny sinny metallic mesh, and the leather trim is in metallic gray, there are 2 buckle hardwares, buckle closure, 2 hardwares on handle, and silver studs on leather trim. We seriously do not need that much detail on one tote! This whole bag looks like some kind of disco decoration. This bag looks like some bag by baby phat and should not be sold for USD $3450!!!!!! I'd use $3450 to buy 2 quality chic bags and not some disco lighting like this.
